Noella DeMille started doing pencil drawings in 2002. After a few years, with no formal education in the arts, she decided to join the Yarmouth Art Society and Conseil des Arts de la Baie for the opportunity to show her work and to pursue other types of art. Since then, she has done watercolor, pointilism, colored pencil drawings along with etching and linocut at the printshop in Yarmouth, NS. Having lived in Nova Scotia all her life, Noella gets her inspiration from her surroundings which include landscapes, seascapes, animals, floral and still life. Since retiring from the insurance business at the end of 2017, she now has more time to pursue her favorite pass time, visual arts.
